The Mission of Teachers Like Me TLM is to Recruit, Develop and Retain Black Teachers. TLM is Focused On Two Groups of People: College of Education Graduates From Partner Universities and High School Students to Receive A Bachelors Degree In Education. Incentives to Recruit The Teachers Include Signing Bonuses, Relocation Fees, Affordable Housing, and Scholarships. TLM is Focused On Developing A Strong Instructional Pedagogy With A Culturally Responsive Lens. Teachers Will Be Provided Additional Professional Develop By TLM to Improve Instructional Practices.
