Peer Companion Program: During FY25, Our Seventh Year As An Independent Nonprofit, Vet to Vet ME Peer Companions Devoted More Than 3610 Hours to 138 Veterans Who Needed A Friend. Other Volunteers Spent Nearly 1,500 Hours Supporting V2VME Caregivers and The Organizations Mission. Our 5 Part-time Staff Members Spent Their Time (3962 Hours) Recruiting, Training, and Assigning Volunteer Peer Companions; Processing Veterans Applying for A Peer Companion, and Resolving Problems and Issues and Making Referrals for Additional Services for The Veterans In The Program. Other Volunteers Helped With Training, Calling Veterans (phone Pal), and Activities to Assist The Veterans In The Program.
