TAMMANY, TANGIPAHOA and WASHINGTON PARISHES and GOVERNED BY A VOLUNTEER BOARD. UWSELAS MISSION is to ERADICATE POVERTY IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA. UWSELA COLLABORATES WITH GOVERNMENT, BUSINESSES, FAITH GROUPS and OTHER NONPROFITS IN THE SEVEN PARISH REGION to IDENTIFY and ADDRESS SERIOUS ISSUES. UWSELA RAISES FUNDS THROUGH AN ANNUAL WORKPLACE CAMPAIGN, INDIVIDUAL and CORPORATE GIFTS, GRANTS and PARTNERSHIPS.
