THE ERADICATION of INVASIVE SPECIES WAS EXPANDED and THE PLANTING of NATIVE PLANT COMMUNITIES WAS CONTINUED. THE SVCSF CONTINUED to LEASE THE FARM to COMMON ROOTS (AN UNRELATED 501 (C)(3) PUBLIC CHARITY), WHICH PROVIDED ORGANIC PRODUCE to THE NEIGHBORHOOD, THE SOUTH BURLINGTON FOOD BANK, and to FOOD INSECURE FAMILIES INDENTIFIED BY SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKERS. IN ADDITION, SUMMER PROGRAMS AT THE FARM - INCLUDING TEACHING FOOD PRODUCTION and PREPARATION to ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS WERE DELIVERED.
