ADAPTIVE RIDING PROGRAM: STRIDES ADAPTIVE RIDING PROGRAM is OUR LARGEST and MOST IMPACTFUL SERVICE PROVIDING WEEKLY THERAPEUTIC HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS TAILORED to MEET THE UNIQUE PHYSICAL EMOTIONAL and COGNITIVE NEEDS of INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES. IN 2024 STRIDES SERVED APPROXIMATELY 60 RIDERS ACROSS MULTIPLE SESSIONS RANGING IN AGE FROM 4 YR OLD CHILDREN to ADULTS. RIDERS WERE GROUPED BY ABILITY to ENCOURAGE PEER INTERACTION and SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT. LESSONS FOCUSED ON BUILDING CORE STRENGTH BALANCE COORDINATION CONFIDENCE and COMMUNICATION.
